This 12 string guitar was created approxiamately in 1914. The twelve string guitar was created after a british band named Sex Pistols guitar tech, had hooked up Gibson, and created the twelve string guitar. This guitar has no specific playing, but one does need to have alot of skill and practice in tight finger positioning. The string's are about 2 centimeters apart from each other, yet the fretboard isn't as long as a baritone or as longer than a standard six string guitar. This exact model of Gibson's ML12, was made and manufactured in 1947. Of course this is a much newer, more advanced model of that guitar.
The acoustic guitars are one of the oldest guitars every made, that are still being adored and manufactured to their fullest. As acoustic guitars are beginning to be used for a wider variety of music genre's, acoustic guitars will always be the essence of music, and the creator of harmonics, and ryhthm. As the acoustic guitar seems to just be a piece of wood and strings, an advanced player could play the acoustic guitar as if it were a synthesized instrument in today's technology. Never has the acoustic guitar been under estimated since many parts in the world know and use the guitar. Some guitars in the Europe parts of the world seem to customize and change up the creation and shape of the guitar, giving it their own distinguished sound, apart from the sound used, here in the United States. For many years the acoustic guitar has been the symbol of soft rock, blues, and especially country. This image of an acoustic guitar is one of the most known guitars out now. But i'm pretty sure that in the years to come the acoustic guitar will be advanced and for sure updated, for today's and and future's players.
This type of the guitar is called a Ukulele, and is played with the fingers of the players struming with with his right hand, individually strumming each string. Also, at the same time, the left hand (which is on the fret-board, holding the frets) is keeping rhythm, as well as changing the tone, and of course, the melodic melody of each song, or riff. The Ukulele is the symbol of melody in Hawaii, and every song from the Luau genre has a Ukulele. The Ukulele was introduced to Hawaii in 1879, by the Portuguese, when they migrated to Hawaii. King David Kalakaua began the essance of having his ushers play the Luau sounds everywhere in Hawaii. As time began to evolve the guitar sound, and of course the Ukulele playing of styles, and types, the famous Hawaiian sound was respected everywhere in Hawaii.
This banjo by Fender, can be played disconnected, which is acoustically, or connected to an amp, and play the banjo, electrically. In the beginning of music for the country genre, players would use the banjo as a rhythmatic purpose, and substitute in later with an acoustic guitar. Since the banjo was as large or as long as a guitar, people didn't see the banjo, as well as hear the banjo at concerts, or in studios, (before mic's for instruments were created and introduced to the music industry). So what Fender, Fernandez, and other name brand manufacturers of guitar creators, and other string instruments, they made the banjo much more diverse and properly structured, so that the strings would be projected, but still easy to play without the amount of strings gauge, and fret-board longevity. The banjo is all over the Country sound, and as country, a genre of many years with Guitar, banjo manufacturers have made banjo's much more playable, as well as many more different types of banjo's. They consisted with 5-string , to 6-string, even 8-string banjo guitars. They also made hollow body, and semi hollow body banjo's to give them more of an acoustic sound, yet loud and projected as a mandolin or thicker gauge string banjo strings.
